Clearview Montessori was started in 1980 by Anne Small and her husband. The current facility was built by the Smalls to accomodate a child care facility but retain a sense of "hominess". Thus, as you enter the faclity you get the feeling of walking into a home.
Each of the three levels of the facility are equipped with bathrooms and kitchen area. The design of the building allows us to logically seperate our class room areas but maintain "connection" among the different gorups. This allows us to transition children effortlessly between programs and also give the children a sense of security as they "graduate" into the next level.
In 2002, Felicia and Tom Pierce purchased the business from the Smalls. Felicia had been the assistant director of the facility. They have carried on many of the fine traditions at Clearview Montessori while innovating new and creative features to the program content.
They also bought the school's first school bus, an essential element for the field trip program.

With our complete program in one building, many of our clients have begun in the infant program and stayed with us through the sixth grade with after school care. There is a sense of "family" from the design of the building that carries over with the staff at Clearview Montessori. Some of our children have returned to become teaching aides while attending high school.
We are proud of our tradition of offering quality education in the spirit of the Montessori philosophy at affordable rates.
